Kiss flights leave thousands of travellers disappointed

Kiss flights become the latest British travel firm to collapse during the peak of British holidays. Its been estimated that 70,000 holidaymakers are facing uncertainty about their trips abroad.. The budget airline who specialised in trips to the Canary Islands, Turkey, Greece and Egypt have left holiday makers thinking twice about booking through small budget firms.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), those that were due to fly out today will still be able to and Kiss will fulfill their full booking.  The company has an estimated 60,000 forward bookings and 13,000 customers already overseas. Its also been mentioned that the 70,000 people affected by the collapse will be honoured with a full refund in a bid to keep disruption to a minimum, albeit with holiday makers still left disappointed with the thought of their holiday cancelled and having to book a last minute deal within their budget.

The main reason behind the collapse of the travel firm is believed to be cash flow problems as it did not receive enough bookings for September and October.
